I don't know if we should be blowing our own horn but we have just recently found our 1000th cache.
It has been an incredible adventure and we are constantly amazed at the wonderful places we have discovered over the last 5 years that we would have never visited or even know about if not for Geocaching.
We have also met some wonderful people and made some life long friends through this rewarding pastime. Not to mention probably gotten in better shape as well.
Our millennium cache was "A Golden Old Girl" which was placed by Mr. GPO's parents; Oldsters Go Play Outside.
We introduced my parents to caching 2 years after we started and in only 3 years they have recently reached a significant milestone themselves, 2000 caches! It must be nice to be retired.
Although we are now temporarily living in Ontario we started caching in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island and have only moved here this summer. We still own our home in BC and will be moving back to make the island our permanent home in the not too distant future.
Thank you to everyone who places caches, hunts caches, and contributes to the great community that has grown out of this rewarding activity.
