Swans of Lonesome Lake
Swans of Lonesome Lake:  [?] . You might remember a book called "The Caruso of Lonesome Lake" where Ralph Edwards saved the BC Trumpeter swans from extinction from the 1920's to the 1950s. It was almost required reading for our generation in elementry school in the 70s. Edwards cabin burnt down in the BC fires of 2004. [M | C

We finished off 2006 by doing these two caches by the cacher ceebeecee.
The first, "Where The Swayne Shall Meet" GCMXYQ was the hardest due to some of the trees that did not survive the wicked weather we've had this fall/winter. One or two interesting twists along with a very nice location makes for a memorable cache.

The second, TRIPLE FALLS GCJN6H was a little simpler but just as interesting with the cache location being beside some nice water falls.

Both locations are near each other and would make a nice two fer if your visiting the area near Errington here on the Island. I've posted some pictures with our logs for you to check out.
