I had a great time at the last Meet and Greet. It brought a lot of people together. However, I have a feeling that each of the six events were somewhat isolated. In the future I'd like to see some kind of technicological hook up at each event where people at the various events could talk to other people at other events through the computer.

I was wondering if we could hook up some kind of real time video feed through our computers. Of course this would entail everyone having some kind of internet hook up at the various locations. Could this be done? Could we hook up some kind of video conference call?

If the place has wireless Internet, someone brings a laptop and web camera (microphone) for each place its possible for sure.
msn messenger supports video feeds, but there's better ways.

www.skype.com might be a good bet, but it would all depend on having a wireless connection.

Thanks guys. I'm really thinking forward to the Cache Blitz in the spring. It would be great to have some kind of communication between all the events. I'll be looking into all these ideas.

I'm looking forward to it as well: I already have 8 caches camo painted and ready to go.
Am I too early for the party?

I don't make it to many events due to time constraints (kids). But it sounds like it was a pretty successful. We are a fairly technologically advanced group so we should be able to do some kind of wireless hookup. I'm pretty sure with that cell phone/gps/camera/can opener that V-I-Cacher has it should be a snap. Wink
