CBC did an article:
www.cbc.ca/news/canada...-1.2712618

Did anyone from B.C. make it?

A few of us did.

Worldcaching (Groovy Owl and Professor P) had the store, as did Landsharkz. Sharon and I were there, Princess J and her daughter, and a contingent from the island as well.

A lot of power trails were put in for the event with more added each of the last 4 days.

The satellite events were interesting and well run.

The town of Rosthern never knew what hit it. A small prairie town had 500 people wandering into various stores going for the Lab caches (a seemingly new catagory) and peering into their bushes and trees. They did not know how to react. But they were ll friendly!!

A tad less hectic than last year in Cache Creek, Merritt etc where the caches were announced and given out at the event and the crazies (you know who you are!!) roared off into the area at breakneck speeds.

With this being the prairies - you could see the plume of dust as cachers on the next road over drove, made the find and drove again

Dauphin Manitoba next year!.
