This evening I noticed that one third of the caches in the mcwilli tribute series in Fort Langley have been disabled by a lackey named Geocaching HQ. Specifically, cache number 1 then every third cache in that series were disabled today without any reason being given on any of the cache pages. Does anybody know what's going on? And why is it cache numbers 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 19? What does 3 have to do with it? Sad

Check and see if all the geocaches are owned by one geocacher. It's too early to speculate but the last time I saw someone's caches / account locked by Groundspeak HQ that person was banned.

Right you are, Scruff! It seems our friend PhilatSea has had his geocaching.com account locked down, which has taken all his owned caches offline for now. The reason every third mcwilli cache got hit is because he shares the series with RumRunner 1 and sweet-marie. Their caches are still up and running.

you can still go find them, but you'll have to wait to log them. All the caches are locked as well. Not just disabled.
