British Columbia Geocaching Association Feedback

Sender Name: Greg Perry
Sender Email: perrycoq @ telus.net
Message: I was at the 40th Baden Powell Guild meeting last week and we were discussing the up-coming Scout activity "Jamboree on the Trail" or "JOTT" as it's commonly called.

Last year it was moved to Balcarra Regional Park and was a big success. So, this year it'll again be at Balcarra Park.

Unfortunately, the Metro Parks people are not able to assist as much this year, so we are looking for Organizations/Clubs to help put on activity stations in the picnic field area for the hikers to do before or after they do the trail hike.

One area that was asked about was Geocaching.

Can you let me know who I could contact to see if the Club would be willing to help out by putting on a station for us. It would only be something like a "This is what Geocaching is all about" type of thing. Similar to the talk at a Scouts "Kick-off" Camp at Camp McLean last year.

This year's JOTT is on Saturday, MAY 12th, 2012.

Thanks in advance.
