My Oregon 450 has been updated a couple of times on line. But I still have a problem with the 'share wirelessly' feature. I can send or receive ONE cache to/from another unit, but if I try to to repeat the operation, the unit freezes. If I turn it off and on I can proceed but only the once. Also I get a message on my computer asking if 'I would like to scan the Garmin device' when I plug it in, or proceed without scanning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, how recently have you updated the firmware? Which firmware are you running? You can check by going to SETUP>ABOUT (which is way at the bottom). If it is not Software Version 5.20/ GPS Software Version 5.00, then you will probably want to update it. **BUT** ensure you follow Garmin's procedure around downloading tracks and waypoints to Basecamp prior to the update or else your unit may no longer be compatible with Basecamp any more.

I believe the latest update resolves the wireless transfer problems.

As for "would you like to scan the Garmin device" upon plugging it in, I also get that all the time. I just ignore it and hope it doesn't mean anything...
