Hi! I haven't been out to do a cache yet since my wife and I had a son. He's three now and I want to take him out somewhere accessible. I've been told there are a few caches in Sooke, in particular out on Wiffin Spit. Could someone send me some details on them or any others out this way I would be able to find with him?

Assuming you have a geocaching.com account, check out this map of the caches in the area: http://coord.info/map?ll=48.36386,-123.73489&z=

Looks like there's a few on the spit you could go find.

Thanks Mr Wilson. Your link was very informative. Wow! I never expected to see so many in this area. My only problem now is I can't seem to be able to get the GPS cords to start the finds. the link doesn't seem to work. Do you have any tips?

Were you logged in to a geocaching.com account when you looked at the map? If you weren't, that could be the reason why you're not able to see the geocaching info.
Here's another link you could try: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?lat=48.356567&lng=-123.726783. It shows the geocaches near the spit as a list, and not on a map.
