So I've just purchased numerous cache containers of various sizes and was ready the cache placement requirements but some of it doesn't quite make sense to me...

It says to contact the landowner of public land?? Who would you contact in the case of something along the lines of a bench cache on the side of a road...or a bus-stop cache?

Are there specific parks that do not allow geocaching in victoria?

Do you have to contact the owner of parks, etc to see if it's okay to place a cache there if there are already existing geocaches in the location?

Thanks...

As far as parks caches go, you have to read the guidlines about this. Basically caches in parks can only stay there for 3 years.
Guidlines: www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcpa...policy.pdf
Most people just go ahead as far as busstops and park benches, but you should be aware that people seeing things like these placed may not be sure what your intentions are(blame it on the terrorists. LOL)
Hope this answers some of your questions
