They are at 9822 now - anyone placing bets on what day they hit 10,000?

We still remember meeting them while travelling through the Kootenays several years ago. We had our old motorhome parked at the bottom of a loose shale slope and there was a cache up there, so we headed up the shale...loose rocks bouncing down and some hitting our vehicle. Never did find the cache and it was a very steep mountainside, so we decided to give up and were making our way very carefully down the loose shale, slipping and sliding as a couple stopped at the bottom. They yelled at us..."There's only one reason anyone would be crazy enough to go up there! You must be geocachers!" Chatted a bit with them...they had DNF'd it earlier and had come back for another try. We had to leave as they headed up. They had found the trail the last time they tried, so they knew a safer way up and they were successful that time as we found when we logged our DNF. Very nice couple and hope they keep on caching! Congrats on getting up to those very high numbers!

9904, and they are still close to home (Trail) - wonder where 10,000 will be?
