Looking back at September there was only one done (+2 non-GCSC)
So it shall be really easy to improve upon.
Posting this now because registrations are likely to begin in the next couple of weeks and the good spots have gone fast.
The first two weeks will only allow registration for those who have previously done it. (Now if you haven't and want to stake a claim I could for you.)
Locations map

So does anyone think they will host?

I have found an area already, I hosted one CITO event already but no shoreline cleanup, though I have planed to host the event for a while.
When can I create the event page?

We will be doing a CITO event up here in the Cariboo and while we do have shorelines thats not what needs the CITO its the bush. So I will be trying to gather ideas/suggestions as we have never held one of these type of events before. We are hoping to get the city on board and will probably be going to a park and recreation meeting soon. Ideas and suggestions are welcome..so I will be watching and thanks in advance.

Hey Sam, where you thinking maybe the RIvervalley trail area? Or did you have a place in mind?
Maybe that painball area(with my favorite cache in it....) that's over where Mackenzie meets the highway...
It's pretty awful in there... I would actually make the trip up to help with that CITO... Smile And visit my mom JCgeocaching. Smile

THere are so many different areas that we could clean up, Im not sure if we are going to focus on one area or let people loose. There will be prizes for the most garbage collected, the most unusual and other. We are currently waiting to meet with parks and recreation to see what they suggest and ofcourse we want their help with access to garbage dump etc. I think the date for the CITO will be around the 22nd of May I think we should be submitting event for approval just after the middle of February. So keep posted. and yes that cache in the paint ball area is cool. I think we took 3x to find it and I dont know how much time spent on hands and knees!

I hold usually 2 CITO events a year and one of them is always a GCSC Smile
I am proud to say that I have already got my area for this years GCSC staked and will not give it up ... nope nope nope... not even for chocolate...well maybe LOL
I have 3 CITO's planned for this year and I am HOPING to get a good turn out because I would hate to have to do the clean up on my own Sad
My events are April 17th Chipmunk Caves, April 24th Chilliwack TBA and Sept 25th is my GCSC CITO.

I've booked a GCSC for Queen Elizabeth Park, Sept 26. A chance to find some caches and do some clean up. The park is usually quite clean but there are nooks and crannies that could use some help. Hope to see you there.

Do you book the sites as the site coordinator, also it is 7 months until the week so when can I create a cache page?

Yes book as a site coordinator online. You'll have to wait to have a cache event published but I'm not sure how long.
