I was @ the Langley store today and picked up a couple of the larger 50 cal ones on sale for $12.99 from the regular price of $17.99. They are nicer than the ones they usually have too.

FYI nail polish remover takes the yellow writing off real quick.... and leaves the green alone.

They had around 30 of the larger ammo cans, and only one of the $7.99 ones at the Coquitlam store. I too picked up a couple of the larger ones as there seems to be an abundance of small or micro caches; cachers have a hard time putting anything into containers those sizes. Even some TBs are too big for a lot of caches these days - means you're stuck with a TB for the next 10 caches until you find one big enough.

Most people appreciate when they come across a big container where they can leave some of the trackables they have been hanging onto, not to mention trade items.

Don't waste your time going to the Langley store, they had only 4 - 30 cal cans at 15.00 each and while they had lots of the 50 cal cans they were all junk with dints, bent and missing hinge parts and were not worth the 8.00 they were asking for them. Yuck

These ammo cans unfortunately will be getting harder and harder to come by, which is too bad as they make such great containers...Provided that one paints over the military writing of course.... Please do that if you are using them.

Keep on looking. Coonskin Hat
