[The following story is being submitted as part of the "win an iPod" contest for the BlueSky project].

Hi, I'm Sean, I’m from Coquitlam British Columbia, I’m 11 years old, and my family and I have been Geocaching for 3 years now. You may also know me as Huggy Junior. My Geocaching obsessed uncle (m.s. thebrain) started us on Geocaching, he has three thousand cashes now and we have just over a thousand.

By far, my most fun geocaching adventure was to our 1000th Geocache on Galiano Island, part of the Gulf Islands.

We packed lunches and our bikes in the car and drove to the ferry terminal where we took a ferry straight to Galiano Island. We took our bikes into the forest until we finally found the cache.

The best part was it was not only our 1000th Geocache, but it was also our 100th FTF (first to find). On the way back from the cache my brother's bike tire popped, so he had to double back on my dad's bike. To end the day of course we bought some chocolate ice cream, and swam at the beach while waiting for the fairy.

To reduce carbon emissions in my family I have thought of many ways.

-Turn lights, computers, TV’s and other electronic devices off before leaving the house.

-Use fluorescent light bulbs instead of incandescent.

-When ever you have the chance, do not drive in a car. You can use public transit, bike or use many other environmentally friendly ways of transportation

-Take short showers and use minimal water in the bath.

I could think of many other ways to reduce carbon emissions but my page is full so I'll have to end my story. Thanks very much.
