Hello everyone!

I am a relative newcomer to the geocaching community, and a radio journalist in Vancouver. I am currently working on a short documentary on the subject of geocaching on the Lower Mainland, and am looking for a volunteer to tell me their story!

I am hoping to find a a geocacher in the Vancouver area who has an interesting story to share with me and my audience. Some suggestions would be that you started geocaching to get healthy, overcome a disability, spend more time with the family, or remain active in retirement.

If you have an interesting story to share, and would like to take me geocaching for an afternoon to be a part of this exciting radio documentary, please send me a message with your contact information!

Thanks,

Mike Walker

Update: I contacted Mike and will go caching with him. Being disabled, caching is a perfect activity for me in many respects and it works well with my animal (usually dog) rehabilitation.

Update: I met Friday the 27th with Mike and his co-hort Amanda yesterday for the documentary and enjoyed it very much. They are excellent interviewers.
Thankfully there was 2 new undone caches for me (by Loungelions) to find in Vancouver. Which I found, whew, not the time you want to dnf, lol.
They said they'd let me know when it is ready for airing.

I'd be really interested to hear the interview when it airs. Please let us know when they tell you the airing date. Smile

What ever happened to this documentary? Was it completed and aired and we didn't hear about it?

Mea Culpa! Did and done last March. It was a lot of fun and Mike did an incredible editing job.
There is no actual link to hear it but he sent me a copy. How do I post that?

If no one else has a suggestion, send it to me and I'll find a home for it. Is it something you can email?

I'd like to see the interview. It's also something the BCGA should have in the vault.
