My dad received one of these for his birthday and it has built in GPS. One can embed location data into a picture file and use it for 'geotagging'. That's all I know so far. Hope to visit him on the weekend and compare accuracy with my 60csx.

That's pretty cool! I can well imagine that, after taken a few hundred pictures on a trip, when some one asks you "where was this taken"? you can actually tell them now! Smile


Another good example of blending technologies into one device....

Just took a look at the specs online looks like a cool camera have to look at it further.

Compared the gps function with my 60csx on a crisp, clear night. Only 2 digits for decimal seconds, so that's not good. I waypointed our location (dad's driveway), then waypointed the camera's coords. Difference was 670 meters. Less than impressive. But, if you were doing a lot of travelling all over the world, might be handy.
