Hi all,

As a precautionary step we have disabled our "Trolls in Training" series which are all located around or near the recent murder in the Park.

We strongly believe that all people should be warned about the risk in the area at this time.

Good on ya for doing that for a while! Though hopefully good sense would have done the trick. lol
When I was caching the park two days before this tragic death, my gut strongly said to avoid the south/east corner and I've learned to follow my instincts so I left the cache I'd planned undone and cached the northern end where no feelings about it came up. So I wasn't too surprised but glad I followed my instincts about danger.
A whistle or having a cell phone is no safety but a false illusion. When things happen, they happen fast and in panic, people can't breath to blow a whistle or have time to dig out a cell phone or remember any number.
There was reports of even two women being harassed in there but still, more safety in numbers. It isn't the wildlife but the human animal that is "the" threat.
Any park, any time, any street, any time but it can't stop us from living our lives. Be aware of whats around you and watchful and join up with others for lonely areas.
Stay safe everyone!
