I have an HP Ipaq 2795 with the various cache areas from GSAK on an SD card. Occasionally it would be helpful to be able to connect to the web to check if a cache has been archived.

The device continually tells me of local networks that I could connect to when I am out caching. I assume it has Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth capabilities as I have the iPaq Wireless dialog boxes to adjust settings for both and it is telling me of networks.

My problem is - I have never managed to figure out how to actually connect to a web site with this device. Any time I attempt to connect I get boxes popping up telling me I can't connect. I can then hit "Settings" which attempts to setup a modem. Isn't the fact it is wireless negating setting up a modem?

Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do? Chucking it isn't viable lol.

I have borrowed a Wi-Fi 802.11g CF card to attempt to connect and that doesn't change anything either - however I didn't have the correct drivers for that.

Thanks
Laurie

We have a similar HP iPAQ and it's also not connecting anymore - but it did when I got it a couple of years ago. Sad to say, but I've given up trying.
