The BCGA will be hosting CITO events across the province this Autumn.

There has been some talk of areas of the Lower Mainland in need of a clean up. If you know of a park worthy of a CITO please post it here. Thanks.

One option is to do one with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. That is held on two different weekends in September. There are numerous options for locales. It is sponsored by Vancouver aquarium and TD bank. It was quite successful for the Mud Bay Cito Event in 2006.

If we act quickly we may be able to get a location along Wreak Beach.

I've registered my scout troop for the shoreline cleanup at Iona (north arm).
And decided to create a CITO for the same spot the day after on the 21st. I'll have a cache page published soon.
