The Canada Christmas Micro is selling quickly. We minted 500 of this version and we have 60 black nickel and 140 satin silver remaining. If any locals/mainlanders would like some inexpensive trackable coins (that fit in micro caches), please contact us soon.

The quantity of Canada Micro (non Christmas) is sitting at 250 black nickel and 350 satin silver. We minted 1000 of these so hopefully they'll last a little longer. It's nice to sell out, but it's also nice to be able to say 'yes' when people ask if we have any left.

Chris is going to be on the mainland in New Westminster on Nov 26th (later in the day) and can bring any coins, swag or geo-stuff over if someone would like to coordinate a mainland order AND come & pick it up from him. No shipping charges and also delivered to New West! Please send us an e-mail to landsharkz @ shaw.ca if this interests you.

Whitebear's "Bitten by Whitebear" geocoin arrived from the mint and then it promptly sold out in 36 hrs, before we had a chance to post it here. If anyone wants one, please contact WB directly, he may have some left.

Today we received Spud502 Personal geocoin, Newfoundland 2007 and 1701eh Memorial Geocoin. We have them on the site for sales to people outside Victoria. If you're in town, e-mail us to set a time to come by and pick them up and save the shipping charges. We'll bring some to Lumbo-Tire's event on Friday, but it would be a good idea to drop us a line to make sure and reserve some.

We still have quite a few of the Canada Micro, but the Canada Christmas Micro's supply is dwindling.

We just listed Canada Micro Puck trackable geocoins today along with a new version of the Canada Micro. The Pucks are going fast... over 100 sales in the first hour, but it's slowed to a dull roar now Shocked . Puck sales will cease when the playoff are over but we will continue to include them in event donations for a little while.

The new version of the Canada Micro will continue to be sold until the 2008 version is released.

We have a custom Canadian Cacher waterproof micro container (no beaver) coming soon. It will come packaged with 2 Canadian Cacher Rite in the Rain micro log sheets and the option to have very strong magnet glued inside the base Twisted Evil .

In addition to QJ's new coins, we've just listed the beautiful Moustik butterfly trackable geocoin Moustik 2007. Within the product listing there is another link to see this in 'grander than life' size.

BC in Blue souvenir coin in a gift box (first in a set of 5) and a BC in Blue souvenir key ring (first in a set of 5). The set of 5 coins/key rings will be completed in 2010. These make lovely FTF prizes or gifts for Father's Day!

Luggage tags featuring Beaver Dude will be added to our Canadian Cacher line in a couple of weeks and 'Cacheur canadien' geocache stickers en francais are also coming up soon!

We have two new coins coming up...

First... our Landsharkz Christmas 2007 Snow Globe Geocoin

This coin is 2" tall, 2-tone on both sides, epoxy covered with glitter in the epoxy (not glitter paint) and has a loop so you can hang it on your tree during the Christmas season! The back of the coin is going to be changing sufficiently that we are holding off posting that image at this time.

Next...Introducing the 1st in a series of Anniversary Coins we'll be releasing over the next year!

A big THANK YOU to the Kootenay Pirates! They were about to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the date they started geocaching. They asked if we would consider making an Anniversary Coin series because they wanted to buy a 5th Anniversary coin and couldn't find one anywhere!

Chris actually contemplated making the 5th Anniversary coin first Wink ... but we decided to make them in order.

This coin and a matching pin will be available for Christmas 2007 gift giving!

Specs: 2D two-tone polished nickel and polished gold with 3D antique silver attached overlay city scene (Seattle) on the front with an area for the tracking number. The back has 1st Anniversary in translucent red with recessed art and an area for you to customize with your own special date and/or name.

Future Anniversary coins will feature different international city scenes in antique 3D overlay.

We have Cache Agent's coin for sale (in 4 sparkly gowns) along with a few other new coins that are moving quickly. Geckos are once again sold out, but we're expecting more from the mint in a couple of weeks.

The 2008 British Columbia Geocoin is almost ready to go to the mint and we're working on a BC150 coin. There's also going to be a new Canada Micro coming in a few weeks. The 2008 BCGA coin is in sample production and we should see how it's coming along soon.

We've also added some Garmin GPSr and hardware specific to the unit's we recommend for caching - specifically car adapters and InvisibleShield (love it!). If you are in Victoria and would like to give a Colorado a test run, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do Wink . There's a rather unpleasant cache in heavy tree cover just 200m from our home office that you can test it out on... Shocked Laughing .

Next up... RAM mounts Cool

It's been a busy summer with our trip to Rendez-vous Quebec and a detour to the Maritimes and then 10 days in playing Extreme Team GPS games in the Utah desert Shocked !

We have some new coins in production at the mint for the fall season - two Canada Geocoins (a set), a Christmas coin, the 3rd anniversary coin which will feature Sydney Australia, and a Halloween coin which will be a LE GWP during October while supplies last. All but the Halloween are trackable on geocaching.com. There are also some personal coins for cachers and groups around the globe.

There are new Wildlights coming up on our site tomorrow - zebras, walruses and 3 different dinosaurs! They are really nice for your caching bag or for kids backpacks.

Confession time... I found the missing 100th BC Parks GeoRush cache... it's the one we used for the demo with the Minister of Environment at the Gowlland Todd Provincial Park launch of GeoRush ! It was here all the time... Embarassed We'll save it for next year. 99 is a pretty lucky number, so we may as well stick with that now.

In response to many requests on the island, we will be carrying ammo cans later this month. Visit VIGPS to find the 'off the truck' discount pricing for locals.

We are now carrying Invisible Shields for Magellan eXplorist Series!

RAM mounts should be available in a few weeks if all goes according to plan. If you would like Invisible Shields or RAM mounts for items that we may not carry please drop us a line and we can add them onto our next order.

Happy Cachin'
Helen n' Chris

We're proud to present a new personal coin designed by Chris (Landsharkz) for GeoKs in Calgary, AB.

This 3D/3D/3D satin nickel and polished nickel coin is 45mm diameter and a combined total of 4.8mm thick.

Highwood Pass in Kananaskis Country, Alberta is featured in satin nickel with black printing and red maple leaves. The obverse is a compass rose created with 8 hiking elements and a red/black compass rose. The centre has an attached 3D benchmark from Highwood Pass in polished nickel with black filled text.

"Located in beautiful Kananaskis country in the Canadian Rockies, the Highwood Pass is the highest navigable pass in Canada. The summit is just about at the tree line, which means the surrounding area is one of the most accessible alpine areas in the Canadian Rockies". GeoKs.

Visit Waymark WM22ZY!

GeoKs have other versions of this coin, but this version is exclusive to Landsharkz.

Other geocachers can discover you out hiking, but better yet... if you lay your stick down at a cache and forget it (yes, I've done it!), the next geocacher can 'discover' your stick and return it to the rightful owner.

This trackable hiking medallion comes with a custom icon of course, 4 nails and it's got 3M sticky stuff on the back - peel, stick, nail and activate!

$6.99 CAD.

We have also finally got our back-ordered Invisible Shields for the Garmin Oregon and they're selling fast!

GeoBandanas are... coming soon!

The GeoBandana - nice and flat to mail - it will fit through the 'Canada Post slot' for inexpensive shipping and because it's available in 4 colours you should be able to find one you like 8). If you really want it in a different colour, send us a note and we'll add it to the next order. These are designed in-house in Victoria and printed in Kamloops, BC!

Pricing TBA.
