Hi guys,
We get a lot of tourists sending us e-mails through our site with general and/or specific questions about caching in BC. Usually I provide this service myself (for lack of a better place to send them other than the Canada Forums). I'm wondering if I could have a hand answering this one. Is there a pocket query guru or tourism dude who could take this on and help out? I'm swamped with work and trying to get ready for a holiday.
OK here goes!
Copy/paste from an e-mail I just got...with edits for minor spelling booboo's
Helen

IN OCT WE WILL BE VISITING AND STAYING IN CANADA WHILE DOING A TRAIN TOUR.....IM HAVING DIFFICULTY LOCATING CACHES CLOSE TO THE HOTELS WE WILL STAY AT... THE HOTELS WE WILL VISIT ARE THE LODGE AT ARE THE FAIRMONT VANCOUVER (DOWNTOWN) IN BC., THE KAMLOOPS HOTEL, THE HOTEL FAIRMONT BANFF SPRINGS AND STORM MOUNTAIN LODGE.....I LOOKED UP CACHES AND LODGE ADDRESSES BUT ITS STILLL TOUGH TO FIND...ANY SUGGESTIONS? I KNOW I'VE GOT TIME BUT IM EXCITED......

I will forward the lady's e-mail to someone willing to do this research once I get her consent to do so. I've replied to ask if that is the name of the hotel in Kamloops. Also, she won't need many caches near these hotels, she's just getting off the train for the night in the hotel and back on again the next morning. That much I can figure out!

You can send this along. Though I'm suprised a geocacher could not find this out in a few minutes. Postal Code Lookup, or Keyword lookup of Banff.

Caches in Banff National Park are spread out but this covers both areas.

I didn't ask which country she was coming from...maybe she's not used to post code searches. I'll send this along.

Thanks CB!
