Being there are over 14 1/2 thousand caches listed for B.C. made me wonder how many 'Cache Reviewers' there are in the Province.
- Are most reviewers from the more concentrated areas or is anyone familiar with the over a 1000 caches placed (or misplaced) north of Horseshoe Bay up the Sea & Sky Highway to the Whistler Pemberton area?

- Also ... do any caches that have "Maintenance" logs pending for a while get checked automatically or by any reviewer sweeping cache logs? (or even a number of D.N.Fs)

Thanks ... just wondering Two Cents

There are currently 4 reviewers working in the Province of BC (this is up from 1 reviewer who had other areas to review just a few short years ago). They are very hardworking and are geocachers themselves so they do not normally search for caches with a large number of DNFs. As time permits, Wizard of Ooze (the senior reviewer for BC) checks caches with a "needs maintenance" log and posts a note on the cache page informing the cache owner to attend to their cache. If there is no action on the part of the cache owner, the cache will be archived.

If it is a soggy logbook or other easily solved problem, many cachers carry emergency log books, ziplocks, or drying rags to help deal with the wet coast weather thereby bypassing the need to post a "needs maintenance" log (and earning karma points in the process).

A "needs archived" log is flagged for the reviewer and the response will be much quicker.

Please use the "needs archive" log only in cases where it is obvious that the cache owner is no longer interested in caching or is no longer able to maintain their cache. If you feel a cache is in a dangerous location or there are other serious issues that need to be dealt with immediately, place a "needs archive" log and/or contact the cache owner and reviewer.
