What was long know to be the longest un-found cache in the world has been recently found! GCDFB
In case you missed it, there has been a long discussion about it on the Groudspeak Forums http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=311580&st=0

Pretty cool that someone found it, if you ask me! Very Happy

That *is* pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.

I am fascinated by rarely-found caches. Recently, I was 3TF on a 2 year-old cache outside of Pemberton. Can't figure out why there aren't more finders. Sure, you need access to a 4x4 vehicle, but it wasn't that tough to get to/find.

Kougarok was placed the same day, just has a higher GC #, so it took over as being the longest unfound cache a day later, It is some 180 kilometers north of Nome and I am pondering going after it next June/July but it would not be cheap. If anyone is adventurous feel free to contact me and we can make plans.
