I've read the policies for geocaching in the city of Surrey, and for Metro Vancouver and B.C. Parks, but I'm wondering if any of the other Lower Mainland municipalities have developed similar policies. It would be helpful to know who to contact for permission to place caches in municipal parks.

Thanks for asking. The policies that we have links to on this website are the only municipal/regional/provincial guidelines we are aware of, at least in the Lower Mainland.

I would say most municipalities are aware of Geocaching but don't have official policies - and I think we should keep it that way. As a group we need to self regulate rather than have a bureaucracy do it for us.
