By now you all should have received an official newsletter from us informing you of a last call for membership renewals, launch of the coin sales, announcement of the AGM, and an official call for nominations to the 2012/2013 board of directors.
Now obviously we do not live in a perfect world and technology can and does fail us so if you haven’t received the newsletter please let us know so we can look into why you didn’t receive it. In the mean time I will post it here as well so you all can rest assured that you have been officially informed and can start your plans now.

February 2012 Newsletter
Well the time is coming. Our session is almost over. We have felt very privileged to have served you.
It's true the 2011 executive's term is almost over so we would like to bring you up to speed one final time:
- Very last call for membership renewals. You only have literally hours left to renew you membership or you will be deleted. We are trying to clear up some of the dead accounts so if yours is one of them you will have to reapply after this weekend to become a member again. To all of those who have renewed thank you.
-Our coin is up for sale. Yes it is a bit late but we are finally ready to take your orders. We have decided to format the sales this year so our members get the first crack at the coins. Here is what we have come up with. We are allowing members the exclusive chance to purchase the coins until midnight, Feb 29, with sales opening to the public on March 1 till the close of presales on March 15. Look for the coin designs and info on the main page of the website.
-The AGM has been announced. We will be joining the Spring Stomp festivities in Kamloops on March 31st, 2012. If you can make it we would love to see you there. The event is posted so check it out and add your will attend.
-Calling all nominations. If you know of someone you would like to nominate for a position on the next board of directors you can find a newly added section on the forums to do so. Look for it somewhere near the middle on the forum topics page entitled "2012 Director Nominations & Discussions"
If electing someone simply state that you are nominating that person and then list for which positions. You can nominate someone for more than one position so state each position you would like to nominate them for. If you are being nominated you can state your intention of whether you are going to accept the nomination or not and start any discussions from there.
One important detail to consider is that there is going to be a motion put forward for consideration to change the length of service on the board from a 1 year to a 2 year term for all positions. This motion will be put forward, discussed, then voted on so you will need to consider this as possibility being voted in when deciding on your nomination.
