This morning I stumbled upon the Vancouver Transit Memorial Project link, I remember hearing about this a few years back.

It looks as though ther project has not seen any activity for a few years. Does anyone know if this project is dead or if the list of caches that have been replaced needs updating?

You might try sending an email to Pharmadude. I think he has a pretty good record of what is what with the VTMP.

Thanks jangor,

I will contact him, and then maybe someone with access to updating the link can update the information.

I wouldn't mind replacing at least one of the caches and maybe other cachers, including newer cachers that did not know about the original caches might want to replace some as well.

Is there any BCGA executives that would be willing to update the information for the VTMP, or someway that a volunteer (like myself) not part of the executive could get access to the file so that they could update it?

I was not caching when the travelling cache was active. I have found a number of the memorial caches at various times. I took a look at several of the placements and there are conflicts with existing caches. Some of the memorial caches have themselves been archived. If someone is able to do the legwork, I will update the page here.

It is a great project.

Thanks for renewed interest in it Grafinator.

Is there a way I can get a copy of the spreadsheet or whatever type of file was used to post the caches?

I think it would be a lot easier for me to edit a spreadsheet and then give that to you, than it would be to write it all out in a word document stating which caches have been archived, and what caches exist that are not included in the current list, etc?

If that would be possible, it would be a lot easier i think.

The current list of caches looks like it is some type of spreadsheet that would be easy to edit and add to.
