Swans of Lonesome Lake
Swans of Lonesome Lake:  [?] . You might remember a book called "The Caruso of Lonesome Lake" where Ralph Edwards saved the BC Trumpeter swans from extinction from the 1920's to the 1950s. It was almost required reading for our generation in elementry school in the 70s. Edwards cabin burnt down in the BC fires of 2004. [M | C

Message: Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to send this email but we are a couple of Australian geocachers that are visiting Vancouver for a week between the 27th May and 3rd June before doing an Alaskan cruise. We are looking for help in finding accommodation for that period and would also like to meet up with some local geocachers if possible. We have visited an internet site which shows Bed and Breakfast accommodation but not knowing the area it is hard to choose.

So if someone was able to give us some advice we would really appreciate it. The site we are looking at for accommodation is www.airbnb.com/search/...an_bnb&gc. Our team name and real name is Liz and Bruce and you can check us out. We have travelled extensively in Australia - this is our first geocaching trip overseas. We just want to do some geocaching around the central area and are happy to catch public transport and would like to be able to get from the airport to the accommodation reasonably easily.

with kind regards Liz and Bruce
