hi folks!

well, after an extended break from caching, I'm getting a small spark of influenced interest back, due to the circumstance of an announced arrival
of yet another fellow German geocacher. Now, we are not talking about
a way-out-there-smiley-crazy cacher such as maybe Spuchtfink.
Nethertheless, he would very much like to meet quite a few local cachers.

Now, before I put on an event that might be under the radar for most,
is there anything planned for the following days:
13 Feb.
17 Feb.
18 Feb.
worth attending?

And if I put on an event, where would be the best location for the best turn-out in numbers of cachers?

cache on!

the only reply I have received so far is, that events need to be placed with gc.com at least 14 days prior.
obviously another stupid new rule?
are there ways to post an event still? any reviewer that could help on this?

Actually, it is an old rule. Not everyone visits the geocaching.com website every day so the 14 day rule ensures that people are given time to plan to attend.

As far as I know there are no events planned on the Lower Mainland for February.
