Twas the night before Christmas with cachers abed
as visions of cool hides danced in their head.
the lock n' locks stored near the hung mistletoe
dreaming that they soon would be ready to go.

Out of the blue the Geocaching website
published a flurry of caches that night.
The bells and the whistles went off with a blast
and not one Geocacher wanted to be last.

To heck with the presents, the tree and the rest
every local Cacher knew what to do best.
They dressed in a second, not brushing their teeth
but grabbed their cache bags tucked under the wreath.

Bleary eyed but focused, the cachers descended
en masse to GZ when all was upended.
The search wasn't fruitful and there was a bet
that the CO actually hadn't hidden it yet!

No FTF posts were logged that Christmas Day
but BC Cachers knew just what to say.
Well met on the trail, good luck with your stashing
Merry Christmas to all and to all happy Caching!
