Well to say we couldn't have done this without you would be an understatement.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the gift - it's made caching fun again - hands down garmin or magellen - no contest - it can route me on an FSR that hasn't been used for anything but quads in 20 years and get us right to ground zero without having to figure out if it's a top line or a road.. lol
It's getting used (and the mounting thingy as well & plug in) so now I can figure out the cache, put it so Jordy can see and well - it's not all the woman telling the man what to do - he can see as well.. lol
A huge thank you to all who place caches as well and take us on amazing adventures everywhere - from our own park behind us - to the peaks and mountain views we get to see!
I still have the write up to do - uploading pictures now
- but Find #1000 was very appropriate - a Cache called Lost Turtles
a Terrain 5 FTF - followed later that day at another peak at a Terrain 5 Cache at a snowmobile shelter that used to be a forest fire look out called Kathleen's Cache
- sitting there seeing the 360 degree view was very - "inspriational" to say the least and why we cache -
Cheers to every one - and we're off to the turtle races for #2000
- oh yes that was a 2nd FT
F the following day that had been there for a year..
Thank you to every one - now to photos and writing! -
PS Keelong - although rescued is now a brown and black Panda... I guess Rudy's dopelganger convinced him to go get dirty and play.. lol
