Pyramid Falls:  [?] . During the heyday of rail travel, Canadian Pacific trains always slowed at Pyramid Falls to give tourists a photo oppurtunity. For this reason, Pyramid Falls beat out Niagra as the most photographed waterfall in Canada. [M | C

Landsharkz are proud to present the 2010 British Columbia geocoin.

Sgang Gwaay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on Haida Gwaii on BC's west coast.

This is the fifth and final coin in a 5 coin series of British Columbia coins. This green-ringed coin is 45mm x 3.5mm 2D and 3D and displays a Golden Eagle on the front and a Haida Gwaii (islands of the people) scene with the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve village of SGang Gwaay on the shore on the obverse.

This is Haida village that famed BC painter Emily Carr made famous in her paintings of her visits to what was then the Queen Charlotte Islands. The coin is polished nickel with imitation hard enamel and soft enamel paint. This coin has a custom icon and is trackable on geocaching.com.

Thank you once again to our friend Tom Spetter (www.cyandesign.ca) for creation of the lovely First Nation art and to local BC artist Tracy Courtemanche for creating the SGang Gwaay scene.

This coin is available for sale from Landsharkz.ca for $10.00 each. If you would like to pick up your order in person and save shipping, please remember to check the 'pick up in Victoria' box on your order. This ensures you don't get charged shipping!
