On Oct 4 Scruffster and I managed to sneak in one more day long adventure to the Merritt area for a combination of caching, and backroad driving through the surrounding grasslands. We found a few more Gold Country caches, and visited historic sites like the Murrary United Church in Upper Nicola built in 1876, the Quilchena Hotel circa 1908, and the Douglas Lake Ranch, Canada's largest operating ranch, now in it's 120th year of operations.
