I'm looking for a low priced used (but in good working condition) and probably older Palm PDA that would be suitable for paperless caching.

I recently bought an older Palm for $15 off ebay. It has worked out very well.

I have looked on ebay but have no clue what model to buy. I have seen some reviewer notes that the Zire 31 is problematic for paperless caching. Some recommendations from geocachers who have actually used these older models would be helpful. I would like to be able to use GSAK to transfer files to the unit.

The model of the Palm that I bought from ebay is the m505. My sister, a geocacher in Ottawa, also has this model. I have GSAK on there - it is great to be paperless! Neither of us has noticed any particular problems using this model.

Just to close out this thread - I managed to get a Palm M505 on ebay for $26.00 including shipping. Looking forward to loading up the cache descriptions and switching to paperless caching at last
