If you know anyone in Girl Guides you can let them know that there is a Geocache Challenge crest available for them apply for.

The 35th Burnaby North Guides have already got a cache placed (GC1JBGM) and will be finishing there application for the badge on the 25th of this month.

Congratulations to the Girl Guide organization for recognizing that this is a great sport for kids and organizations.

Cheers

It was actually the BC Girl Guides Geocaching challenge that got us into geocaching! I saw the challenge on their website (http://www.bc-girlguides.org/letscamp/media/geocaching/GeocachingChallenge.pdf) and decided to try it for myself. Before taking the 1st Brandt's Creek Sparks out to find their first geocache, I hid one myself (GC1R230) - it is in an area that is suitable for these very young girls to have their first geocaching experience. They all had a fun adventure searching for and finding it.
