Im still fairly new to cacheing, I have found 217 , I am wondering how to get your name to appear on the leaderboard? Is it automatic? I am a premium member, and member of BCGA ?? any help would be great Thanks

I believe the Milestones scroll will automatically pick you up if you have British Columbia, B.C., or BC, on the location section on your geocaching.com profile. It will also pick up major cities/municipalities in BC most of the time.

So all you have to do is add BC next to your town name and you should end up on the scroll by the time you reach 300. If not, the nice and talented CanadianBacon may manually add you onto the list if you ask nicely. **wink**

Thanks for the response in record time!! Yes the milestone scroll picked me up and shows 200 finds, however it just didnt add me to the leader board for bc (not that its all about the numbers or anything..grin) I will check that I have the location set properly. thANKS AGAIN

Just checked, and that was likely it, I had the town without the province for my location. Thank you again for your help!!

...it has nothing to do with the BCGA. It's just a link the BCGA has to another website. I don't know who runs the big Ranking board.

yes thats the one I was talking about, hmm I bet it still has something to do with the area/province. I have changed my location on gc so Ill just wait and see on the next update if it finds me.....

You will only be listed on that site if you find one of the caches that the site monitors (it monitors only certain caches). Go to the link below, submit your coordinates and it will tell you where the closest cache is to you that it monitors. Go find it and then you should start appearing on the list within a few days (it updates every Tuesday and Friday morning).
