In your private profile options:
Private Profile Settings

You will now see a Receive Cache Alerts via Email: option.

If you set this to 'yes' and are an active BCGA member, you will receive cache alerts. (Also set your cache 'centers' on the cache alert box on home page).

The newsletter option on your profile will now be used just for... (you guessed it) Newsletters!

All cache alert values have been defaulted to the newsletter value to start on each account.

To add some info. Close your browser entirerly then go back to the BCGA and set you options for the cache alert. The user data is stored with your current browser session, and changes will not be picked up unless you close your browser, and re-open the website. This only applies because we added a new field to the user data, and it will not be reflected in your data if you have not closed your browser.
