July 25th, 2011 meeting minutes

British Columbia Geocaching Association July 25th, 2011

Opening: The meeting of the BCGA was called to order at on July 25th at 8:00pm on Skype.

Present: Kelly Contant, Chris Yuill, Kathy Costello, Jacqueline Sheppet

1. Approval of last meeting’s minutes Moved: Kathy Seconded: Kathleen

2. Ongoing business

- Blitz wrap up events

We will order 100 buttons at 33c each. “I placed a cache” (Kathy)

We have confirmed names to host now checking on 13th or 14th (Kelly)

There will be a generic winners coin for each category (Jacqueline)

We will produce three certificates with names for each category (Jacqueline) (Kathy will make template)

We may draw for winner from the three nominees at the event

- BCGA Geocoin

Kathleen to contact designers now we have a design chosen

3- Geocaching trainer program

Tabled until next meeting A program may be in place already

4. New business

-’s use of coupons with their company logo.

The BCGA has no problem with Caching Containers, or other advertisers providing goods and services with their contact info and logo in any way they see fit.

- BC parks coins and caches

We will drop remainder of coins in caches at various stages this summer.
