Attendance:

Kathy Costello, Adrian Fontenla, Kevin McDonald, Chris Yuill

Meeting called to order at 10:10 PM via Skype


Introduction of Kevin to the rest of the executive


Discussion of sponsorship of Westcan 3, Gold Country Poker Run

  • Brought Kevin up to speed with the event and our previous discussions

  • The executive had previously voted approval in principle to sponsorship pending further information

  • We discussed various options for sponsorship and reviewed our in kind cost options

Motion – that the BCGA Sponsor Westcan 3 Gold Country Poker Run at the Bronze Level sponsorship in the amount of $500.00 plus a reduced 8 x 10 booth rental in the amount of $100.00 with up to 50% of the sponsorship being “in kind” Moved Adrian Fontenla, seconded Kathy Costello  Carried


Discussion of purchase of a data projector for training programs, booth displays, meet ‘n greets etc.

  • Rental costs are expensive and are difficult to rent and return in one day.

  • Brief discussion inquired about the possibility of a large screen TV instead, portability is key

  • Discussed the need to have a backup light bulb

Motion – that the BCGA reimburse Kathy Costello the amount of $362.30 for the purchase of a data projector for use by the BCGA.  Moved Kathy Costello, seconded Kevin MacDonald Carried


Next meeting set for Jun 3, 2013 at 8:00 on Skype
