Once again I find myself out in Ontario, teaching for the summer. But it does have benefits. While visiting the John McCrae house I managed to find my 1700th find....



It's true! The BCGA turns 10 this year!

Following on the Mega success of Island Spirit 2012 we are once again hosting an event of Mega proportions on Vancouver Island! This time the theme is EarthCachingTM

Landsharkz and the Geological Society of America are hosting the 3rd International EarthCache Event (3IEE) on October 11, 2014 at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. We invite you to spend the weekend with us and join in the fun!

This event is expected to host 500+ geocachers from BC, Canada and around the world. The focus of the event will be EarthCaches and the geology of the region. Of course, we will also be highlighting the best of what the Cowichan Valley and Vancouver Island has to offer as a geocaching and tourist destination. Watch for news of a VIP reception where you can rub shoulders with EarthCachingTM reviewers and representatives from the GSA.

2nd Annual Gold Country Geocaching Event - Passport to the Gold Trail
We are so thrilled to announce early registration for the 2nd Annual Gold Country Geocaching Event - Passport to the Gold Trail!

The kickoff will be in Cache Creek on June 28th and the event will end in Clinton on Canada Day, July 1st.
There will be fun for the whole family including games, food, vendors,
